BBS 99/..., ( Bitter Blum Sewer 1999)
Im August 1999 wurde eine Expedition nach Nordgabun durchgeführt, hauptsächlich um die für mich so interessante A. herzogi-Gruppe genauer zu untersuchen. Begleitet wurde ich von F. Bitter und P. Sewer. Extrempunkt der Reise war das nordöstlich gelegene Mékambo, von wo aus die Straßen nach Ékata und Malouma untersucht wurden. Die Rückfahrt brachte uns auf der N. 2 über Mitzig nach Oyem, von dort über die R. 12 nach Minvoul und über die R. 13 bis Nkolmengboua. Auf der N. 2 bzw. N. 5 konnten wir über Sam und Medouneu durch die Monts de Cristal nach Libreville zurückfahren. Diese überaus erfolgreiche Reise brachte unter anderem viele neue Erkenntnisse über den wenig bekannten A. herzogi-Komplex.
